The newsletter (dubbed The COIN Chronicle) is moving forward in a more workable format for us. This includes a new email distribution platform. We ask only for name and email.
We have vetted the new system, Kit, for its security. The platform we've used previously (Bonterra/Every Action) is for fund raising and customer relationship management, which we do not require to send the newsletter.
Kit adheres to normal privacy standards and disclosures, and makes it easy to opt out of the mailing list. In fact, we have found that Kit exceeds the privacy requirements of our previous system, because Kit is also used in the E.U. with stricter privacy standards than the U.S.
In the meantime, please pardon our delays as we make this transition and coordinate our efforts with Oregon groups.
