Newport Gains National Attention for Resisting an "ICE Prison"

Be encouraged by this report by Rachel Maddow featured on her show on MS NOW, Nov. 17, 2025. Newport, Oregon managed to push back on ICE basing a detention center at its airport, largely spurred by the reckless disregard of safety for the city's fishing industry.
